So I am doing my own, solo 48 hour challenge this weekend.
(Dunno what the challenge was? Click!)
I started at 11:30 AM Pacific time, and so far I've read two books: Paris Pan Takes the Dare and Serendipity Market. They were both quite good, though I liked the latter more.
I read those in 150 minutes, which equals 2 and a half hours if you don't want to do the math.
Off to read Confessions of a Triple Shot Betty now. I am probably one of the last people to read that. I remember last year that and Audrey, Wait! were everywhere, and I am late to read them both. Oops.
Also, since I'm bad at choosing what to read next, I encourage you to check out my goodreads "to read" shelf and tell me what to read.
I haven't read Confessions of a Triple Shot Betty, yet, either. It just didn't look like something I'd like that much. I'll be interested to find out what you think about it.
ReplyDeleteI read Confessions of a Triple Shot Betty a few months ago. But like you, I was super late to read Audrey, Wait!. I'd say read My Most Excellent Year next, since I just found it to be such an entertaining read, but really it's up to you. Cycler was interesting, but not completely satisfying.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the reading!

Good luck with the challenge! I looked through your to-read and had a tough time deciding what to suggest you read next. A Novel Idea is my favorite Simon Pulse Romantic Comedy, and I think it would be good for the challenge because it's a quick read and fairly fast-paced. The Awakening and Two-Way Street are also great. Plus there's Fragile Eternity which I just read during the challenge and loved. So, uh... I probably wasn't all that helpful, but maybe I at least helped you narrow down the selection a bit.
ReplyDeleteGood luck! Two books already is really good. I only read three the entire time. It was a lot harder to try reading for that long than I thought, so best of luck!
