Ok, you said Kartik was fair game so I am using him. Kartik = sexy indian ball of victorian loveliness. And even though Chelsea is going to kill me for this the neck touching is very HOTT! I have spent many a skype call reading passages of The Gemma Doyle Trilogy to get me (and Emma & Chels) through my romance and sexy needs. I mean victorian men are quite possibly better than bunnies & unicorns combined. So of course they trump zombies!

Why are Victorian guys hot? Seriously? Haha, well. For one thing, the mannerisms, the diction choice, basically just the way people spoke back then. There's something very elegant and graceful about the language, you know? It's kind of beautiful. The hair :) Mmm. And the clothes - none of this nasty baggy-shorts-below-the-butt business that goes on today. Very crisp looking.

Why are Victorian guys hot? Really? They court, there is games and no wondering "does he really like me?" they court you if they like you. The clothes, come on they speak for themselves. The way they speak. Language then was so elegant and beautiful, even the slang back them was somewhat beautiful (unlike now, when it's annoying and degrading).

I want to base my argument off the Infernal Devices characters ^_^ The Victorian Shadowhunters are far more ansty then their contemporary counterparts which totally increases their appeal.
