Waiting on Wednesday: Graphic Novelizations

Waiting on Wednesday was started by Jill over at Breaking the Spine. (:

I dunno what else to call them besides "graphic novelizations." Here are two graphic novels based on book series I love that I'm interested in reading:

City of Bones adaptation (more about them here)

Vampire Academy adaptation (more here)

I'm thinking that these will either stink or be really cool. I don't know if I'll follow them religiously since I've already read the books, but I'll at least read the first in the two series. I think the fight scenes especially would be cool when drawn.

Though, if I'm correct in assuming that's Dimitri on the VA one...ew. I don't think I want to have my image of Dimitri ~tainted with that ugly-looking drawing.
