YA Historical Fiction Challenge


I saw this on Sab's blog, YA Bliss, the other day and since I love historical fiction, I thought I'd join the challenge!

I think I'm going to attempt Level 2 of the challenge-- reading 10 historical fiction books in 2011. Let's hope I can actually do that, because it would be rather sad if I didn't.

I'm not sure which books I will be reading, so I shall leave a blank list:

  2. It's a little older, but "I Am Regina" by Sally M. Keehn is one of my favorite historical fiction books from when I was growing up. I also liked "Fever 1793" by Laurie Halse Anderson, and "The True Confessions of Charlotte Doyle" by Avi.

    I'd recommend PRISONERS IN THE PALACE for sure. Have you read WE HEAR THE DEAD? PICTURE THE DEAD? Both great. REVOLUTION is enjoyable so far.
