In My Mailbox

In My Mailbox was started by The Story Siren and inspired by Pop Culture Junkie.

This week I got a signed review copy of Elixir by Hilary Duff, which was exciting but not as exciting as THIS:

(I tried taking a photo so many times and finally I was like "forget this I am making a collage of all the decent ones because I have spent too long trying to get one good one.")

Three copies of Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins!

On Friday, my lovely mother took me to B&N, where she bought me two copies. Then, when she was at the mall later, she bought me another with my Borders gift card. Yay my mom!

One is for me to keep in ~pristine condition,~ one is for me to mark up and love and such, and one is a Christmas gift for my friend. (And if I had more friends who read they would all be getting Anna as a gift but they're lame and don't read. So my one friend who does is constantly subjected to my recommendations and gifts. This year, she is also getting Sea by Heidi R. Kling. #funfact)

Obviously, I love this book. YOU SHOULD READ IT. It has Paris and cute boys and FUNNY.

  1. If your friend reads your blog she TOTALLY KNOWS WHAT HER CHRISTMAS PREZZIE IS.

Also: I so want to mark up my books, but I don't have an "extra" copy of any books to keep pristine. I don't even have a second copy of RED - how lame is THAT? SO WHAT SHOULD I DO? SHOULD I JUST RISK IT??

  2. That is totally awesome... I'm such a wimp I don't think I could ever write in a book. I just checked this one out from my library though and am very excited to read it!

  3. Uuu, WANT!
What a great friend you are!
    And go Khy's mum!

  4. Signed copy of Elixir? Awesome. :D I've been meaning to buy Elixir, but I refuse to do so until I can get it signed by Hilary Duff in person. I unfortunately keep missing her signings in LA, though. BOO.

And yay, Anna and the French Kiss! I want to read it so much! I haven't had time to read lately, otherwise I'd be tearing through that book right now, ahha. :P

  5. I finally bought my copy on the release day!!!

I'm thinking of giving Anna as Christmas gifts too! I don't have many friends that read either. Booo, they're missing out!
